Getting a perspective on global warming

This graph has Homer alarmed!:

Can you find the global warming in this graph?:

us_annual_temps_by_month

US yearly temperatures by month, 1895-2009. Each line represents the record for a different year. Red line is the temperature in 2009.

A warming of about 1F gets lost in the annual fluctuations of the second graph. It’s time for the little old lady to loudly demand “where’s the beef?”.
